"Onya Dougie !"

Thanks for the mammories matey.

(or should that be memories...??)

It was ace having your face in my space.......
and I mean that very sincerely.
Thanks for the company, these last three years (two and a half, anyway), whilst I've been hard at work on the streets of Sydney. Pounding the pavement in singlet and stubbies, (not a pretty sight Doug), hoping to get back to my vehicle before each Classic Hit finishes. Thanks for the giggles and chuckles and accents and skits and especially for playing my "silly little jingles", and taking the piss out of my pathetic efforts to aid you in your endeavour to entertain the
Audio Radiance.
So the ratings weren't good to you this time round !
I say don't dwell on the negative. Next time will be better.
As the old saying goes......
As one door closes ...another one slams in your face.

Thanks to all the "Mulray Bunch" for making the
afternoon "demolition derby" more bearable.

Could you please clear up a few things for your fans ?

When will we see (or hear) the next incarnation
of MulrayFm ?

Will the website continue ?

Are you currently considering a position at another
Radio Station ?
( if so, which one...and which timeslot ?)

Have you ever considered doing a "Late Night" gig ?
(there are tens of thousands of shiftworkers, crying
out for late night entertainment !)

Are there really 43 beans in every cup of Nescafe ?

As I type this little tribute to you Dougie,
I feel pain and sorrow.
(I've just spilt my coffee over the keyboard and
I am getting electric shocks !).

It seems that Dougie's leaving
Now there's gonna be some grieving
'Cos the arvos just won't be the bloody same

And without the Reverand Doctor
And the Kesby helicopter
This commuting thing will be a different game

As the Doc is rather jolly
There will be no melancholy
But then again I think I'll shed a little tear

'Cos when all is said and done
Uncle Doug's our number one
And the Doug addicts still need the Doctor here

So Dougie if you have to go
There is something you must know
We'll be listening out for you with worm on tongue

That's baited breath my dear old mate
And we will all patiently wait
For your return and we all hope it won't be long !

Cheers Dougie !
Cheers Miss Lizzie !
Cheers Chrissy !
Cheers Trent !
Cheers Kesster !
Cheers Bongo Boy !
Cheers Gazza !
Cheers Reggae !
Cheers Kevin !
Cheers Scotty !
Cheers Sarah !
Cheers Barry !........................
(I hope you get to make love to a French woman...;-)

I hope I haven't missed anyone !
